A Deep Dive in to Imposter Syndrome
It’s been a bit of a bumpy ride, but we’ve made it to the end of another season of the poggie. As is tradition by now, Ben and I round out the season with a hostful episode where we take a look at what’s happening in our lives right now, and then answer some listener questions.
We received some cracking questions this time around, and kick off with a juicy one from my mate Hannah, who wanted to know if Ben or I experience imposter syndrome, and if so, what do we do about it.
This is a juicy place to start because I have a very long and complicated relationship with imposter syndrome, low self-esteem and destructively poor self-confidence, whereas Ben…doesn’t. So we dig deep in to the topic of never feeling good enough, as well as the reasons I’ve been reframing imposter syndrome as less of a personal failing and more of a symptom of social/career gaslighting.
To offer some balance to the episode, we then jump in to some lighter topics, including:
